1. Who we are

MINE-HOMES ENTERPRISES LIMITED (RC 9681489) runs Mine Homes Socials and is the data controller for the personal data described here, under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). For data that workspace owners put into the Service about other people (for example a client's photos), the workspace owner decides how it's used and we process it on their behalf.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), time zone and, if you turn it on, a two-step sign-in secret.
  • Workspace content: brands, captions, schedules, and the photos and videos you upload.
  • Connected Facebook and Instagram accounts: with your permission, the Page and Instagram account names, IDs and profile pictures, access tokens (encrypted), follower counts, and insights such as reach, views and engagement for your accounts and the posts published through the Service.
  • Reminder accounts: the name and handle or phone number you enter for networks like WhatsApp or TikTok. We don't connect to those accounts.
  • Billing: plan, payment history and Paystack references. Card details are handled by Paystack; we only keep a token and the card's last four digits and expiry.
  • Technical data: sign-in times, IP address and device type for security, and browser notification addresses if you turn on notifications.

3. How we use it

  • to provide the Service: store your media, publish your posts, send reminders and show analytics;
  • to keep accounts secure and prevent abuse;
  • to send service emails (sign-up confirmation, password resets, invitations, publishing failures, receipts);
  • to bill paid plans and meet legal and accounting duties.

Data from Facebook and Instagram is used only to provide the Service to you. We don't sell it, use it for advertising, build profiles from it, or share it with anyone except as needed to run the Service, and we follow Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

4. Lawful bases

We process data to perform our contract with you (running your workspace), with your consent (connecting social accounts, notifications — you can withdraw it at any time), for our legitimate interests in keeping the Service secure, and to comply with the law.

5. Who we share data with

Only service providers who help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • cloud hosting and storage (Contabo and Amazon Web Services) for the app, database, backups and media;
  • Meta, to publish your posts and fetch your insights — only for accounts you connect;
  • Paystack, to take payments;
  • Mailtrap, to deliver service emails;
  • your browser's push service (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft), to deliver notifications you turned on.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it or to protect people's rights and safety. We never sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Our servers are in the United Kingdom and the European Union, and some providers process data elsewhere outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we transfer data only in line with Part VIII of the NDPA — to countries with adequate protection or under appropriate safeguards such as binding contractual clauses.

7. Security

  • Encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest for social account tokens and sessions.
  • Media is private and reachable only through short-lived signed links.
  • Strong password hashing, optional two-step sign-in, sign-in rate limits and role-based access inside each workspace.
  • Encrypted nightly database backups.

8. How long we keep data

  • Account and workspace content: while your account is open.
  • Facebook and Instagram tokens: deleted as soon as you disconnect the account or remove our access in Facebook. Stored insights for that account are deleted when you ask us to delete your data.
  • Deleted media: removed from the library straight away and from storage within 30 days.
  • Billing records: as long as Nigerian tax and accounting law requires (usually 6 years).
  • Encrypted database backups: kept for a limited period for disaster recovery, then deleted.

9. Your rights

Under the NDPA you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent. Email privacy@mine-homes.com; we'll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. How to delete data is explained on our Data deletion page.

10. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage for preferences such as the theme and the last brand you opened. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

11. Children

The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes and contact

We'll post changes here and tell account holders about significant ones. Questions or requests: privacy@mine-homes.com, MINE-HOMES ENTERPRISES LIMITED (RC 9681489).
